During the 30 plus years of selling tyres for other companies, it has always been my dream to sell tyres of my own. My life in the tyre trade started at Ralph Ripley in 1980, after which I worked for Central Tyres which was owned by Pirelli, I then moved to Harris Bros in 1998, where I thoroughly enjoyed working for the owners Derrek Phillipart and Leighton Walker. In 2011, they sold the business to Protyre.
I’ve met many people over the years and made good friends and many acquaintances. I pride myself on always treating my customers with respect and honesty. I have gained vast experience over the last 40 years in the trade and use it to guide customers to the purchases that give them the best quality and value for their money.
The passion and work ethic I showed at Harris Bros made customers think that I owned the business. Now when they see me working hard and bending over backwards to keep them happy, they will now know that I own it.
